Hi, I'm Stephanie. I'm glad you're here.

Reaching out for therapy can be one of the hardest first steps. My hope is that this page gives you a sense of who I am, how I work, and what you can expect if we decide to work together.

Why I Became a Therapist

A forest trail surrounded by trees with green leaves, sunlight shining through the branches, and the dirt path leading into the distance.

I've always been drawn to understanding people's stories. Over the years, I've seen how healing begins when someone finally feels heard without judgment. Becoming a therapist has allowed me to create that kind of space for others, a place where curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based care come together to support meaningful change.

My Approach

Collaborative

Therapy isn't something done to you. It's something we build together.

Personalized

No two people heal the same way. Every treatment plan is tailored to your goals.

Evidenced-Based

I integrate approaches such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, reading, exploring creative projects, and finding moments of peace in nature. These experiences remind me of the importance of slowing down, staying present, and making space for what matters most.

Yes. I provide secure telehealth therapy for adults throughout California. Virtual therapy offers the same compassionate, evidence-based care from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

What insurance do you accept?

I offer both private-pay and insurance-based services. Insurance clients can verify their benefits and schedule through Headway, while private-pay sessions can be scheduled directly through my client portal. If you have questions about coverage, I'm happy to help guide you.

Most therapy sessions are 50 minutes. This allows us enough time to explore your concerns, build practical skills, and make meaningful progress while maintaining a consistent therapeutic rhythm.

What happens during the first appointment?

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and discuss your history at a pace that feels comfortable. Together, we'll begin creating a plan that supports your unique journey toward healing.

Do you work with adults?

4

How long are sessions?

Yes. I currently provide therapy for adults experiencing concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and stress. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and empowered to move forward.

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major life transition, processing past experiences, or simply looking for support and personal growth, therapy can provide a safe space to better understand yourself and move toward the life you want to create.

Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, and it's completely normal to have questions or feel unsure. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can move at a pace that feels comfortable. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

You don't have to know exactly where to begin.

Whether you're facing something new or carrying something that's been with you for years, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
