Therapy Services
Evidence-based therapy for adults throughout California
Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or a significant life transition, therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change.
Areas of Focus
Depression
Rediscover Hope and Meaning
Depression can leave you feeling exhausted, disconnected, or as though you're simply going through the motions of daily life. You may struggle with motivation, low self-esteem, feelings of hopelessness, or a loss of joy in activities you once enjoyed. Therapy provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore these experiences, understand their underlying causes, and begin reconnecting with your strengths. My goal is to help you move toward healing, renewed hope, and a life that feels more fulfilling.
Trauma & PTSD
Healing at Your Own Pace
Traumatic experiences can affect how you see yourself, relate to others, and navigate everyday life. Whether you've experienced a single traumatic event or ongoing difficult experiences, the effects of trauma can continue long after the event has passed. As an EMDR-trained, trauma-informed therapist, I provide a safe, supportive environment where we can gently process painful experiences, reduce distress, and help your nervous system move toward healing. Therapy is always tailored to your unique needs, allowing you to move forward at a pace that feels safe and empowering.
Self-Esteem & Personal Growth
Building a Stronger Relationship with Yourself
Sometimes therapy isn't about responding to a crisis—it's about creating the life you want to live. If you're struggling with self-doubt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can help you build greater self-awareness and confidence. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be holding you back, strengthen self-compassion, and help you develop a deeper sense of purpose and authenticity.
Life Transitions
Navigating Change with Confidence
Life is filled with seasons of change, and even positive transitions can bring uncertainty, grief, or unexpected stress. Whether you're adjusting to a career change, becoming a parent, experiencing relationship changes, navigating loss, or simply feeling uncertain about what's next, you don't have to face it alone. Therapy offers a space to reflect, process emotions, and gain clarity as you move through life's transitions. Together, we'll focus on helping you adapt with confidence while staying connected to your values and the life you want to create.
Anxiety
Find Calm in the Midst of Life's Challenges
Anxiety can feel overwhelming, making it difficult to quiet racing thoughts, relax, or fully enjoy everyday life. Whether you're experiencing excessive worry, panic, perfectionism, or constant stress, therapy can help you better understand what's driving these feelings and develop practical tools to manage them. Together, we'll work to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create greater confidence so you can move through life with more balance, peace, and self-compassion.

Individual therapy sessions are typically 50-55 minutes in length. This provides dedicated time for us to explore your concerns, work toward your goals, and ensure each session ends with time to reflect and plan for the week ahead.
-
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your personal history, talk about your current concerns, and begin identifying goals for treatment. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and determine whether I feel like the right fit for your needs.
-
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to establish consistency and build momentum in therapy. As progress is made, some clients choose to transition to biweekly sessions. Together, we'll determine a schedule that best supports your goals, needs, and lifestyle.
-
Sometimes. Depending on your goals and the approaches we are using, I may suggest activities to practice between sessions, such as journaling, mindfulness exercises, communication skills, or coping strategies. These are always collaborative and designed to help you apply what we're working on in therapy to your everyday life.
-
Yes. Research has shown that telehealth therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Secure virtual sessions allow you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home while maintaining the same level of compassionate, evidence-based care.
-
I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your needs and goals, I may incorporate EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, person-centered therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed techniques, somatic approaches, and other evidence-based interventions.
-
Yes. I offer insurance-based therapy through my partnership with Rula and currently accept several insurance plans. If you're unsure whether your insurance is accepted, please visit my Fees & Insurance page or reach out with any questions.
